The work of Francis Bacon is characterized by opposites - intimacy and vulnerability against brutality - elegant aesthetics against slaughterhouse scenes - abstract spaces against organic torn figures. In the factory Francis Bacon is clear that violence, whether in subtle or direct form, and decay constant companions are the people he can not escape.

Modern society tries hard hide these aspects of life, but without lasting success.

“There was so much war in my life”

known Francis Bacon in his last interview published three months before his death. The painter stretched so that a background film before one can interpret his work, advanced life situation and work in a specific context.

His designs are a reflection of the destiny of human existence, which is a life to death for him.

Inspired by the work of Bacon are the central aspects of my collection, transparency / coalescence and movement distortion.
Classical constructed garments like the jacket / suit and shirt begin to dissolve. The different layers are combined, grow together. Seams distort in organic movement lines. Pasty applied silicon individualized garments, reinforced fixes a moment of movement.

I would like my pictures to look as if a human being had passed in between them, like a snail, leaving a trail of the human presence.

By resolution and pops like a glove, the Covert is turned outwards - exposed. It caused distortion and vulnerability, but also a new clarity and enhanced sweet. And then there’s a horrifying discovery, the flesh of which one never sees the bottom of things, the flip side of the face, the face. These designs are not used despite its aesthetics of concealment of injury and offense, but their denudation as essential aspects of man.

“If you want to convey fact,
this can only ever be done through a form of distortion”
